Code Enforcement involves addressing situations regarding
property which are determined to be public nuisances as defined in the City's
Municipal Code. This would include, but is not limited to, the following at any
location within the city:
- Grass that has not been cut, high weeds, other vegetation which has not
been cultivated;
- Accumulations of junk/trash/debris
- Inoperable or abandoned vehicles
- Unlawful discharge of sewage
- Open burning (including yard waste which may only be burned during certain
times)
- Zoning violations such as operating a business out of a residence,
unlawful parking of commercial vehicles, unauthorized parking of a
recreational vehicle, camper or boat;
- Unauthorized signage
- Obstruction or unauthorized use of public right of way
- Trash dumpsters either not inside enclosures or left open for extended
periods
