Hillsboro Special Council Meeting
Commitment to Butler
November 28, 2005
Mayor Baran called the meeting to order at 12:00 noon.
Roll call was taken and those present were Mayor Baran and Commissioners Trost, Richmond, McCammack and Hill.
Mayor Baran presented the Council with a copy of an ordinance drafted by the City Attorney that would commit the City to accepting sewage from the City of Butler at the same rate as Schram City. This agreement would enable the City of Butler to pursue grant funding for their project.
Motion was made by Commissioner McCammack and seconded by Commissioner Trost to approve Ordinance 1422 allowing the City of Butler to send their sewage to Hillsboro at a rate equal to that of Schram City. Motion carried 5-0.
Motion to adjourn was made at 12:05 by Commissioner Richmond and seconded by Commissioner McCammack. Motion carried 5-0.
