I want to make exterior alterations to my property. What do I need to do?
You need to fill out a Certificate of Appropriateness application (COA) and return it to Cory Davidson, City Clerk with a $10 filing fee. A COA is a certificate from the Historic Preservation Committee authorizing plans for alterations, construction, removal or demolition of a landmark or site within a designated historic district. The committee will have a public hearing within 15 days of receipt to approve or deny the application.
